Police targeting stolen cell phone buyers

I think this is a great strategy or law enforcement to target buyers. Now, not only thieves beware but those who would buy from a thief. This is implemented as the smartphone toll increases in San Francisco due to thefts. Take a few precautions prior to visiting SF or any other large city and some common sense and you’ll be OK. However, be prepared and know thieves are looking for smart phones.

If it is an option I would also say getting a safety case for your phone. Deterrent is another great way to protect your phone.
